Skiing & snowboarding
- Slopes: Bjelašnica has 8 ski slopes and 5 children's slopes, catering to every level from beginners to advanced skiers.
- Lifts: the resort has 3 chairlifts and 5 ski lifts, including a six-seat chairlift up to the summit at 2,067 m.
- Night skiing: several runs are floodlit, so you can keep skiing after dark.
- Snowmaking: modern snowmaking keeps conditions good throughout the season.
Nordic skiing & snowshoeing
Explore the scenic Nordic trails on Igman, used during the 1984 Winter Olympics. Guided snowshoe tours are also available – a unique way to experience the winter landscape.
Winter hiking
Marked, cleared paths lead through snow-covered forests with breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. Guided hikes with insights into local flora and fauna are available too.
Sledding & tubing
Javorov Do has dedicated sledding and tubing runs for families and children – and snowmobile tubing for extra adrenaline.
Paragliding
Tandem flights with professional pilots give you a bird's-eye view of the winter landscape.
For families
A children's beginner area with a magic carpet is perfect for the youngest skiers – and building snowmen and snowball fights never get old.
Ski rental
There are several rental shops in Babin Do (skis, boots, poles, helmets, sledges). A full ski or snowboard set with helmet costs about 20–40 BAM (10–20 EUR) per day, children's equipment about 15 BAM. Shops are open during day skiing 08:00–16:00 and night skiing 18:30–21:00. Tip: reserve your equipment in advance, especially at weekends and in peak season.
Babin Do
The main Bjelašnica slope is in Babin Do – well groomed, with stunning views and terrain for beginners and experienced skiers alike. Our apartment is just steps away. Check the official Bjelašnica website for lift schedules and updates.
